Thy Kingdom Come is part of a global movement of prayer between Ascension Day (18th May) and Pentecost (28th May).
West Bridgford Methodist Church is offering a range of different ways of praying together and individually. There are also ways of joining in with other churches across Nottingham.

Prayer Opportunities

Daily prayer times at church:

6.30pm 7.00pm on weekdays (Friday 19th to Friday 26th May

9.30am to 10.00am Saturday 20th and 27th May.

Prayer Stations

There will be a number of prayer stations on the church premises between the 18th and 28th May, including an outdoor prayer labyrinth, that can be used any time.


We will also be inviting you to pray for the streets around the church and where you live.

  • Thursday 18th May, 7pm – A reflective service to mark Ascension Day
  • Sunday 21st May, 10.30am – Thy Kingdom Come themed service
  • Sunday 21st May, 3pm – Circuit service to mark John Wesley’s Aldersgate conversion (at Redcliffe Methodist Church)
  • Wednesday 24th May, 12 noon – Midweek communion
  • Sunday 28th May, 10.30am – Pentecost Service
